Jess really has her finger on the pulse of what the triggers or issues may be stemming from and she's invested in addressing the root of the problem when working on problem solving. Jess is not only exceptionally skilled and well versed with dog training, she is also a sensitive, uplifting, realistic supporter of the human end of the leash. "When I got my first Border Collie, I contacted Jess. She taught me the importance of teaching self-control to puppies right from the beginning. Specifically she taught me the value of crate games. I still use what I have learned from Jess everyday. I highly recommend Jess as a dog trainer. She is very knowledgeable, and she gave me the foundation to good dog training."

"Jess is an intuitively gifted dog trainer and is very skilled in helping people resolve complex behavior problems with their dogs. From a competition obedience trainer’s perspective, some dogs’ performances would greatly benefit from her help with behavioral issues such as overarousal and anxiety. Jess has a great understanding of dog behavior and many years of experience working with behaviorally challenged dogs. She has a unique way of looking at things and simplifying a problem into workable pieces. She is a kind, caring, empathetic person with a good sense of humor who is a delight to work with. If your dog needs some behavioral help, I strongly recommend Jess."

JESS WILLIAMS
I have literally been immersed in all things dog and have been passionate about dog training since I could form memories. The picture below is of me and my childhood heart dog, Zoe. Little did I know as a 7-year-old in this photo that I would be the youngest person to ever qualify for the world championships in the sport of canine frisbee in 2002 as well as achieve my first MACH through AKC agility with Zoe.
After working for the two biggest canine entertainment companies throughout college and being fortunate enough to travel the country plastering smiles on thousands of faces, I graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI in 2009. I have been a full-time dog trainer ever since! I have taught classes and led seminars in dozens of states, and I have worked with some of the most behaviorally challenging cases the dog world has ever seen.

I have trained multiple dogs and various breeds in disc, agility, protection, herding, and scentwork. And I even made a special appearance on the Oprah Winfrey Show in 2008. I specialize in helping dogs that quickly get over the top to learn how to more appropriately use their brains as well as building drive and excitement in dogs that need that extra push.

Supporting dog owners and trainers who strive to make their dogs more mentally stable is my number one mission in my career and my life. Because I have been involved in dogs for over 30 years, I am often able to look at problems from a unique approach that allows owners to break through barriers they have struggled with for decades. I sincerely can't wait to work with you and your dog!

ALL MY BEST,
JESS
"If everyone was as passionate about their job as you are, the world would run much smoother."
